My Passion

Social
Responsibility
  • I am a decade-long vegan because I support ethical and environmentally-conscience consumption
  • As a life-long methodist, I am guided by John Wesley's belief to "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."
  • In 2020, I earned the Abby Mahan Memorial Scholarship for Environmental Stewardship. For years, I had been inviting elementary school students to join me in planting milkweed for monarch butterflies on public lands—spaces I obtained permission to use by presenting my project at city council meetings.
Innovation &
Creativity
  • I created my own major in college through Georgetown's Interdisciplinary Studies department. I studied "Technology for Social Impact and Sustainability" under the mentorship of Dr. William Hahn (Environmental Biology) and Dr. Mahendran Velauthapillai (Computer Science) to design solutions that drive social change and sustainability.
  • I built up my creative self by pursuing a masters of science and engineering at the ATLAS Institute. I build impactful solutions through software, hardware, environmental, and mechanical engineering—collaborating across disciplines to turn bold ideas into technologies that address real-world challenges.
  • I created a mobile IOS app, Wellfed Market. This food-sharing platform designed to reduce food waste and alleviate hunger was developed during Georgetown's Summer Launch Incubator and earned Georgetown's Eco Commons' Green Award (2022). I was motivated by United Nation's SDG #2 Zero Hunger (2022-2025).
  • I created a mobile IOS app, CalcuSaver. An innovative app that disguised a calculator to offer a covert means of seeking help in emergencies, with over 15,000+ uses. The app won the 2019 Congressional App Challenge. I was motivated by United Nation's SDG #3 Good Health and Well-being (2019-2022).
Inclusivity &
Empowerment
  • I co-founded and co-led an inclusive program to inspire women and minorities in STEM (TechGirls). I organized events to engage youth in technology and secured funding for local initiatives, including girls' robotics teams, through Zonta and Rotary grants.
  • I coach rowers and para-rowers to national championships and advocated for the inclusion of blind athletes, earning recognition from Congress and Michigan's 1st District Representative, Jack Bergman (2019).
  • I lead one-on-one cycling lessons for children and adults with disabilities, promoting bike safety, health, inclusivity, and empowerment.
  • I coach Junior and Master ski racers to achieve State and National titles by developing training programs that foster inclusivity and empower athletes of all abilities.
